Oak Grove Cemetery to Hold Decoration Day
Oak Grove Cemetery has designated Saturday, April 26th as Decoration Day for 2025. Decoration Days are held at cemeteries to place flowers or other decorations to honor their loved ones. This practice is sometimes held in conjunction with Memorial Day, but can be held at any time.
Volunteers from Friends of Oak Grove Cemetery will be available at the Gazebo in the center of the cemetery between 10:00 a.m. & noon. They will have a copy of the Census and Maps to direct families and loved ones who may need help locating sites. They will also provide trash bags for those wishing to clean up old flowers and decorations. In addition there will be application forms to join Friends of Oak Grove Cemetery and information for donating to the cemetery.
